Mindul living

There have been several breakthroughs from my participation in this seminar. My group has been one of the best things to come out of the sessions. We are all still here, involved, caring and in communication. We just had a lovely dinner together last night to mark the end of the seminar and the beginning of the next phase. I have been truly grateful to Amalie, Bob and Jyoti for taking the lessions of the seminar and helping each us put them into use for our own lives.

One of the big differences I have noted for me, is a subtle but real shift in my thinking and acting for everyday activitiies, business commitments and social connections. I now watch for areas that are too comfortable or things and topics that are still uncomfortable to see where I am not living with intention (or at least a little more push) and integrity. I call it mindful living in the world, so that I make choices that lead me to larger possibilities for living the way I want to live. Many things I did, I still do - but with a different intent or understanding. For me, this provides a sense of clarity that was missing in many of the transactions and choices in my life.

It is this aspect of breakthroughs that I want to keep alive for me, my family and my team.

Lorraine's Breakthroughs

Hi All! The Breakthrough seminar has been like a roller coaster ride. Have you been on one those lately? Here is my sharing

I experienced a breakthrough in my business when I invited a prospect to take a look at my business opportunity. I had a show-up ratio of 100% percent. I'm getting closer to Closing this prospect and get there final response for when they'd like to get started! I'm so excited!

Here is another: I took on being coachable. On Monday 1/18 I had a dentist appointment appointment for a filling. I've been to the dentist for routine check-up and my dental hygenist would say get the electronic tooth brush as it so much better for your gums etc. I would always say - Oh those things are too expensive. My conclusion was bias as I didn't even do some research to come to a proper conclusion. So I took on being coachable and went out after the dentist appoint in search of an inexpensive battery operated tooth brush and found something that fits my budget. My first experience was the best - I end up liking this new tooth brush and I must say it cannot be compared to my other - which was a regular tooth brush. Had I been coachable and did what I say I was going to do I would have been left with new discovery.

Here is another - my sisiter and I had guest over this past weekend; 1/16/10. Family members we hadn't seen for a long time and so by Monday I was wiped after entertaining, cooking and going out. I couldn't wait for them to leave so I could get my space back. But here is what I was opened to- they left inspired by what they experienced and they took away some neat ideas from this weekend's visit. They became open and present to some new ideas about cooking, getting the Magic Bullet (which is a really cool mini smoothie drink mixer etc), and shopping ideas. I say Kudos to my sister on the magic bullet and the shopping ideas as I had nothing to do with that.

Others I'm working on - finishing up a report due this Friday 1/22 at work!

That's it for now.

Breakdowns Blogging Breakthroughs... how ironic! (Technical Support Post)...

OK, so here are the steps as I can fathom them...... (I still think that Google's resources -- Google owns Blogger -- are a good resource for the uninitiated, but I'm happy to be of assistance!)

1. Open the email I ("Bee Kay") sent you if you are a group leader!

1b. If you are NOT a group leader or did NOT get an invitation email from me, email ME (also called the pro-active approach) at captkeating@gmail.com or give me a call at 848-248-0143!

2. Once you get the email from me (and/or open it), CLICK the LINK to verify that you would like to be an AUTHOR of the Blog.

3. You will probably be PROMPTED to LOG IN. You will need a Google account to log in.

3a. If you do NOT have a Google account, follow the PROMPTS to create an account:

3b. To create a Google account, go to http://www.google.com

3c. Click the "Sign in" link at the top right hand side of the screen.

3d. Click the "Create an account now" link on the right hand side of the screen.

3e. Follow the prompts to CREATE AN ACCOUNT. You may need to provide an alternate email address and click a verification link in an email Google sends you (to prove that you are a real person, and not some nasty spam computer.)

3f. Once you have a Google account and feel good about it, go back to the blog: http://breakthroughslivingoutsidethebox.blogspot.com

4. See steps one and two above about getting invited to become an "Author" of the Blog.

4a. Once you log in, if you are following the blog you should see it show up on your "Profile" page. If you do not see this, you can return to the MAIN BLOG WEBSITE ADDRESS, here: http://breakthroughslivingoutsidethebox.blogspot.com and click a "Follow" button that you should see on the right hand side once you are logged in.

5. EVEN if you are NOT an "Author" of the Blog, ANYONE can comment on any of the Blog Posts. ALL YOU NEED TO DO TO DO THIS is to log in using your Google Account, and then click the "Comment" link below any Blog Post. You can type in your message in the text box and then click the "Submit Comment" button once you are ready to submit it.

6. If you ARE an "Author", you should see a prompt (a.k.a. BUTTON or LINK) to add a "NEW POST". A New Post is a lot like a comment, only it's a main post, not a "comment" of an existing post. Once you click the "New Post" link or button, type a title and type your message in the text box, and then click the Orange "Publish Post" button when you are done if you want it to be available right away, or the Blue "Save Now" button if you are not ready to publish what you've done yet, but want to save your work to publish later.

7. There are a zillion other options, many of which are covered in detail and depth by Google Themselves, available at their support website at: http://www.google.com/support/blogger

You can watch videos, ask other ardent bloggers questions on the user-generated support forum, or get the brilliant answers to other common questions straight from Google's Brain Trust.

And, of course, if you have a question or comment that is not covered under this brief synopsis, I encourage you to reach out to me, either by email at captkeating@gmail.com or by phone at 848-248-0143.

Now, let's get busy blogging! Our possibilities are waiting!

It's 6:33 p.m., Eastern time... Are you Living Outside the Box???

Dear Breakthrough buddies,

Welcome to the Breakthroughs: Living Outside the Box Blog!

Like all great endeavors, I'm hoping this blog survives long after the people participating forget what it was started for... guffaw guffaw.

But seriously, get your game face on... We have two weeks left in the Breakthroughs seminar, and then the rest of our lives to practice! What are you creating today?

I am creating miracles in my life! I am teaching a workshop in a few minutes for a non-profit organization on the subject of Overcoming Circumstances. Are you as amused as I am?

I look forward to bold new possibilities arising for each and every one of us as we explore this bold, new decade of our lives! Have a great evening!
